Fredericksburg, VA – July 23, 2010 – Lately, we hear more and more stories concerning suicide and victims are from every age group. What drives people to commit such a severe act? Readers can look forward to a life-changing read as author Sally Cooney Anderson releases, through Xlibris, life. I can choose.

life. I can choose is an inspiring book based on the author’s experience with suicide. Presenting Anderson’s personal journal, this book is published to let others know that sometimes suicide can be prevented. With a caring heart and listening ears—one person can greatly impact the life of another. In addition to offering information relating to suicide, this book will inspire readers to reach out to those who need time and attention. This book shows that life offers many choices, decisions and opportunities.

About the Author

life. I can choose is Sally Cooney Anderson's first published book. Although she has extensive experience as an article writer, editor, graphic designer, and a photographer, she questioned whether her personal experiences and thoughts would be of interest to others. She wrote this book in 2008 and put it aside, but after recently reading an article about rampant suicide in the military, she decided to continue with her project, hoping it might positively influence others.

Anderson also has a lot of experience with serving others. She has both worked and volunteered with several non-profit organizations, mentoring children, visiting people who live in institutions, assisting with disaster response, managing volunteer groups, organizing fundraising events, and more. She resides in Fredericksburg, Virginia with her husband Bobby and her rescued dog Barton.
